Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen works with Planning and Finance Department
A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Deputy Minister Major General Le Van Tuyen on March 28 worked with leaders of the Department of Planning and Finance under the MPS.
A report on the department’s task performance delivered by its Director, Lieutenant General Trinh Ngoc Bao Duy, read that, the unit has allocated 2022 budgets to public security agencies and local police units in accordance with the orientations of the MPS leadership and the sets of criteria, regulations and methods of allocating the State Budget for units’ regular expenditures.
Additionally, the department completed a plan for investments in the Public Security Forces and notified the spending quotas in 2022 to the public security agencies and local police units. It also proposed the Ministry of Planning and Investment to allocate more development budget to the MPS and approved the MPS’s additional 2021-2025 medium-term public investment plan for some key projects.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen asked the Department of Planning and Finance to continue advising the MPS leadership to estimate and allocate budgets to agencies and units in 2022 while guiding public security agencies and local police units to use the budgets allocated to them in 2022 as well as exactly craft their 2023 budget estimates according to regulations.
The Deputy Minister also asked the unit to enhance the effectiveness of investment projects, review housing projects and land assigned to agencies and units within the People's Public Security Forces, and coordinate with one another to draw up development plans of the MPS in the time to come.
