Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang attends 9th Istanbul Security Conference
At the invitation of the Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM), a high-ranking delegation from the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam led by Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang attended the 9th Istanbul Security Conference in Turkey, from November 23-24, 2023.
Speaking at the opening session of the conference, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that digital transformation in Vietnam is identified as one of the key tasks, a breakthrough new approach to shorten the process of industrialization and modernization of the country.
The Government of Vietnam has issued the "National Digital Transformation Program to 2025 with a vision toward 2030", aiming to become a digital and prosperous country and take lead in the application of new technology by 2030.
Vietnam also aims at fundamentally and comprehensively renovating the government's management and administration as well as production and business of the enterprise, people's lifestyles, work and study, creating a safe, humane, inclusive and widespread digital environment.
*On the sidelines of the conference, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang had a meeting with the Director of TASAM.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang proposed that the Director and TASAM be a bridge to promote cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and Turkish partners in the field of security and order, support connections with local advanced science and technology partners to boost cooperation and transfer technology of making security products.
The guest also wished, the director and center give the authorities of Turkey in particular and international friends in general an insight into Vietnam in general and the Ministry of Public Security in particular.
