Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang received USABC delegation

Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang had a meeting with a high-level business delegation of the United States - ASEAN Business Council (USABC), on December 13, in Hanoi.

In the context that the two countries have just upgraded their relationship from a Comprehensive Partnership to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang suggested, USABC continue serving as a bridge connecting the two governments and the two business communities of the two countries, offering practical and effective initiatives to further promote economic, trade and investment relations between Vietnam and the United States, and encourage more US enterprises to invest and do business in Vietnam.

The host also expressed hope that USABC and US businesses support Vietnam in its process of implementing digital transformation, building a digital economy, digital society as well as participating more deeply in global supply chains.

Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director of the US-ASEAN Business Council Brian D. McFeeters said USABC wished that the Vietnamese Government in general and the Ministry of Public Security in particular would further create favorable conditions for US businesses to invest and do business stably and long-term in Vietnam.

He affirmed that USABC member businesses commit to supporting Vietnam in achieving its development goals, especially the goals of digital transformation, building a digital economy and a digital society.
