Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang hosted a meeting with Advisor on Religious Affairs, Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Ambassador Jean-Christophe Peaucelle, on the afternoon of July 4 in Hanoi.
Welcoming Ambassador Jean-Christophe Peaucelle to the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the Ambassador's current business trip to Vietnam will contribute to deepening mutual trust and understanding between Vietnam and France in all fields, especially religion.
Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang hopes that the Ambassador will be a bridge between the two sides, strengthening the Vietnam - France strategic partnership in all fields, especially in religious practices as well as cooperation and exchange of working experience between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and French law enforcement agencies, contributing to protecting national security, ensuring public order, security, freedom of belief and religion in each country.
