Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long inspects fire safety and traffic safety in Vinh Phuc

Reports at the meeting between the inspection mission and leaders of local police read, the Traffic Police Division under the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department took various professional measures to ensure traffic safety in Q3. 

The local traffic police carried out 3,801 patrols on local roads and highway sections in the province, detected and handled 19,702 cases of traffic violations, seized 3,694 vehicles, and suspended 1,366 driving licenses.

Regarding fire prevention and fighting work, the Provincial Police Force Department seriously implemented the regulations issued by the Provincial People's Committee on fire safety conditions for residential households and household businesses. 

The local police set up and ran five typical fire safety models, 14 “inter-family firefighting team" models and seven "Public firefighting hub" models in nine districts and towns while mobilizing local people to download and use the App "Fire Alarm 114" and join the Zalo group "Firefighting & Rescue Police Department".

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long emphasized that the local police should attach much importance to preventing fire and ensuring traffic safety as the two fields are always prioritized by the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security, and any fire and traffic accidents can directly involve people's lives and property. 

The People's Public Security Forces in general and the police force in Vinh Phuc in particular must focus on fire prevention and fighting, and ensuring traffic safety. 

To meet this end, the local police force should mobilize the entire political system and people to participate in ensuring traffic safety and preventing fire to minimize the occurrence of fires, explosions and serious traffic accidents.

Before the meeting, the delegation directly inspected the "Inter-family firefighting team" model in Ngo Quyen ward, Vinh Yen city and the fire safety conditions and firefighting plans at Karaoke bars in Vinh Yen city, Yen Lac and Vinh Tuong districts.
