Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long visits families of late leaders of the Ministry of Public Security
A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, led by Deputy Minister Major General Nguyen Van Long, paid Tet visits, on January 9, to the families of late leaders of the Ministry of Public Security as well as to the police posts of Dich Vong Hau and Dich Vong wards, Cau Giay district, Hanoi city.
During the visits to the families of late deputy minister of public security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long and the delegation offered incense and paid tribute to late Deputy Minister Pham Kiet; late Deputy Minister Nguyen Quang Viet; late Deputy Minister Tran Dong; late Deputy Minister Nguyen Tai; and late Deputy Minister Hoang Thao.
On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long extended best wishes to the families of the late leaders and expressed his respect for their great contributions to the cause of the revolution in general, the mission of safeguarding national security, maintaining order, and the building of the Public Security Forces in particular.
On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long and the delegation visited police officers and soldiers in Dich Vong Hau and Dich Vong wards, Cau Giay district, Hanoi city on the occasion of the 2023 Lunar New Year.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long asked all local officers and soldiers to uphold their determination and sense of responsibility in ensuring security and order to create a healthy and safe environment for the people to enjoy Tet.
He said, the grassroots police force needs to be close to the people, grasp the situation, prevent drunk driving, fire and explosion during Tet.
