Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long visits revolutionary contributors
A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Nguyen Van Long visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Tay Ninh province, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947).
Deputy Minister Long and the MPS delegation visited Colonel Luong Thi Tam, who was Deputy Chief of the Security Office of the Tay Ninh Provincial Security Department (during the war) and is a 2/4 wounded veteran, and family of deceased “Hero of People’s Armed Forces” title holder Phan Van Dien (Muoi Thuong).
The deputy minister inquired after the health of the wounded war veteran and relatives of Phan Van Dien, extended best wishes of the MPS leadership to them.
He encouraged them to continue the noble revolutionary tradition and set a good example for their next generations to follow.
