Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on September 22 met with officers of the Mao Dien Communal Police Post in Thuan Thanh town, Bac Ninh.

Chief of the Mao Dien Communal Police Post, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Khac Chung, briefed the working delegation on the unit’s task  performance in the past time.

Vu Van Manh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Mao Dien commune, appreciated the effort and contribution of the communal police to the security and order situations in the commune.

The deployment of police to communes has brought positive results to the situations of security and order, said Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thuan Thanh town. The communal police force also made contributions to disease prevention and combat, serving the socio-economic development in the locality.

Senior Colonel Bui Duy Hung, Director of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department, said the communal police force in the province has been provided with necessary equipment and vehicles, and all workplaces for the force in the province would be completed in 2023.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To highlighted the significance of the deployment of communal police force. Some 50,000 policemen have been deployed to communal police posts across the country to date, said Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To.

He also thanked the authorities of Bac Ninh province, Thuan Thanh town for their support for the local police force over the past time, and asked them to create favorable conditions for the police to build the communal police post of Mao Dien.

He also required the provincial police department to hold training courses for communal police officers so that they can fulfil their given tasks, contributing to socio-economic development in the locality, and safeguarding the peace, happiness of the people.
