The meeting between the working mission and leaders of local police was also attended by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province Do Trong Hung.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To and Secretary Do Trong Hung praised the local police for their achievements in performing their tasks in recent times.

Regarding the local police main tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To emphasized that the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department should effectively implement Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on building a truely clean, strong, regular, elite, modern police force to meet the task requirements in current context, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its State management of security and order while proactively grasping the situation in the province, taking professional and social preventive measures to curb law violations, and expanding the “All people protect national security” movement at the grassroots level.

Regarding Party building and force building, the competent agencies should regularly conduct inspections, ensure regimes and policies for police officers and enlistees, particularly those working in disadvantaged areas, and enhance the building of the commune-level police force.
