Hai Phong police force requested to be truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern

The Hai Phong City Police Department held a meeting to review its task performance in 2024 and roll out its 2025 work plan, on the morning of December 31st, in Hai Phong.

The meeting saw the presence of Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau.

In 2024, under the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security as well as the Party Committee, the People’s Council, and the People’s Committee of Hai Phong, the Hai Phong City Police Department achieved numerous significant results. The task accomplishment has demonstrated the great effort and strong determination of all local police officers and enlistees.

Accordingly, the Hai Phong City Police Department actively advised the Party Committee, the People’s Council, and the People’s Committee of Hai Phong on approaches to address security and order issues from the grassroots level, preventing any unexpected strategic surprises, contributing to the socio-economic development of the city.

In 2024, the police department also launched a number of crime suppression campaigns, which were acknowledged and supported by local authorities and people, contributing to strengthening people’s trust in the Public Security Forces.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the entire Hai Phong Police Force for its outstanding achievements in 2024.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that the Hai Phong City Police Department continue to take the lead in implementing resolutions, directives and other guiding documents of the Party and State on ensuring security and order and building the Public Security Forces, in the coming time.

The Deputy Minister also stressed that the local police force should strongly promote administrative reforms and digital transformation, strive to build a drug-free Hai Phong city as well as to build a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Hai Phong police force.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung required that the Hai Phong City Police Department should pay due attention to ensuring security and safety for Party congresses at all local levels in the buildup to the 14th National Party Congress, while strongly combating and dismantling criminal gangs in the city as well as promoting the “All people protecting national security” movement in line with mass mobilization and building the people’s security posture.
