Since then, July 20 every year has become the traditional anniversary of the Vietnamese People's Police Force.
Over the past six decades, under the leadership of the Party and beloved Uncle Ho, the People's Police Force, including Hanoi’s police force, has always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the ideals of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the revolution, as well as served the national interests and strengthened blood ties with the people.
Following the fine tradition of the Vietnamese People's Police Force, Hanoi’s police officers and soldiers today constantly are always ready to sacrifice themselves for the peace of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
Alongside their victories in the fight against crime, Hanoi’s police force actively joined the medical sector in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic, and completed the plan to issue chip-based ID cards and identification numbers to citizens, despite numerous difficulties..
The chief of the city’s police stressed that the 60th Founding Day of the People's Police Force was an important political event, helping officers and soldiers of the Capital City to be more aware of the glorious tradition of the People's Police Force, and was a good occasion to mobilize the entire Party, the entire people and the entire Public Security Forces, including Hanoi’s police force, to participate in protecting national security and maintaining public order and safety.
The event was also to honor groups and individuals with great performances at work as well as good examples of the city’s police force.
