Khanh Hoa police build houses for poor ethnic households
PSNews - Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Nguyen The Hung recently chaired a ceremony to hand over houses of compassion for five poor families in Son Binh commune, Khanh Son moutainous district.
Five new solid houses, each of which has an area of more than 40 square meters and costs 120 million VND, were handed over to the beneficiaries in the ceremony.
The five beneficiary families who are all of the Raglai ethnic minority used to live in shanty homes due to their poverty.
Cao Van Nghia, on behalf of the five beneficiary families, sincerely thanked leaders and the ranks of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department, the Vega City Joint Stock Company and the local authority for helping them make their dream of a new solid house come true.
He said that his family feel secure in the new house, and promised that they would work hard to escape from poverty in the coming time.
The houses are meaningful gifts from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department and the Vega City Joint Stock Company for poor Raglai ethnic households in Son Binh commune, on the ocassion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
