Local people and authorities applaud Vietnamese rescue team’s effort
Local people as well as other countries appreciated the great effort of the Vietnamese rescue teams, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey Do Son Hai.
This is the first time Vietnam has sent its rescue teams to a far-away country like Turkey, Hai said. Earlier, such rescue missions had only been deployed to neighboring countries.
The teams’ effort and working discipline have been praised by local people and authorities of Adiyaman city and Hatay province.
The Vietnamese rescue police team had been deployed to Adiyaman first, and later a military engineer team was sent by the Ministry of Defense of Vietnam to Turkey to carry out search and rescue in Hatay.
Some 90 countries and territories have sent their rescue teams to Turkey, Hai added and hoped that the Vietnamese teams will show the world their competent skills and professionalism during the missions.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey would do its best to support the Vietnamese rescue teams.
