Local police successfully rescue foreign tourist stuck at a fast-running waterfall
PSNews - A rescue police mission has managed to safety bring up a foreign tourist who had been trapped at the bottom of a local steep waterfall on the outskirts of Da Nang city.
At 2:30 p.m. on October 29, Information Center 114 received a report from local people that a foreigner was calling for help from the bottom of a local high waterfall in the Mo Khe Ram stream, Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, it reported the case to the local police forces.
Immediately, the Lien Chieu District Police Station and the Da Nang Fire and Rescue Police Division deployed rescue forces and rescue vehicles to the scene.
As soon as the rescue police reached the scene, they swiftly conducted a scene investigation, finding that the waterfall was high and the water flow was running fast, so it was very difficult to reach the victim.
They drew up and executed an appropriate plan to rescue the victim.
The rescue police force used specialized ropes to reach the victim.
After nearly 30 minutes of struggling with the ferocious waterfall, the rescue police force brought the victim up safely.
Reportedly, the victim is a 31-year-old man of Russian nationality.
