Logistics and engineering sector preparing for celebration of 75th founding anniversary
Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen worked with a number of units under the Ministry of Public Security on the preparation for the celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Logistics - Technical Force of the People's Public Security Forces (January 25, 1948), on the afternoon of September 19, in Hanoi.
Earlier, the Ministry of Public Security had issued a plan on the celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Public Security Logistics - Technical Force with the aim of promoting the force’s good tradition and feats of arms over the past 75 years throughout the Public Security Forces.
Such information dissemination drives aim at improving public security officers’ knowledge of the logistics and engineering sector, and affirming the important role played by the force in preventing and controlling crimes as well as safeguarding national security.
According to the organizers, the celebration program includes information and education drives on the force’s development history and its outstanding achievements; emulation movements in celebration of the anniversary; scientific research projects on logistic and technical work in the People's Public Security Forces; cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities; and celebration events.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested relevant units to research and develop a plan to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of the Public Security Logistics and Technical Force in a formal but practical and thrifty manner so as to create a good impression and a lively atmosphere among officers, soldiers and workers with public security logistics and engineering.
