Logistics Department receives honors from the State President
PSNews - The Logistics Department under the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to receive the “Fatherland Protection” Order from the President and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, on September 26, in Hanoi.
At the ceremony, the Public Security Central Party Committee also announced a decision to upgrade the Party Committee of the Logistics Department from the basic level to an upper-basic level.
Member of the Standing Committee of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen attended and delivered a keynote speech at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen emphasized that the upgrading of the Party Committee of the Logistics Department aims to improve its leadership capacity and combat strength, in accordance with the requirements of the department for tasks in all areas in the current context.
It also affirms the very important position and role of the Party Committee of the Logistics Department in building truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces.
To implement the new model of the Party organization, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen suggested that the Party Committee of the Logistics Department focus on building a truly clean and strong Party Committee of the Logistics Department in terms of politics, ideology, organization, morality, leadership and high combat power, capable of leading the logistic force to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
* On the same day, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen worked with key cadres of the Logistics Department on the force’s task performance.
Since the beginning of 2022, the public security logistics sector has implemented two key projects of the Ministry of Public Security, and it has ensured the progress and quality of both projects.
The sector also upgraded, repaired and rearranged office buildings for under-ministerial departments as well as renovated guest houses, function centers and recreation resorts under the management of the Ministry of Public Security.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen spoke highly of the work results that the public security logistics sector and the Logistics Department have achieved in the first 9 months of 2022.
Regarding its tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen asked the Logistics Department to carefully review and revise its working program and plan in accordance with the Resolution of the Public Security Central Party Committee and instructions of the Ministry of Public Security on logistics in 2022.
