Minister Luong Tam Quang hosts meeting with newly-appointed heads of diplomatic missions
The Ministry of Public Security held a meeting with newly-appointed heads of Vietnamese diplomatic missions in foreign countries, on the afternoon of October 30th, in Hanoi.
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Party Central Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Party Central Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated the heads of Vietnamese diplomatic missions in foreign countries on their appointments, and wished them a successful term-of-office.
Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined that the Ministry of Public Security wishes the Ambassadors and Consuls General of Vietnamese diplomatic missions in foreign countries to help further promote, expand and deepen relations cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and security, police and law enforcement agencies of foreign countries and international organizations and forums, while supporting police delegations and officers sent abroad by the Ministry of Public Security.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang sincerely thanked the Ministry of Public Security for its effective support and close coordination with the diplomatic sector in performing foreign affairs, affirming that strengthening the coordination of the security, defense and foreign affairs sectors is a crucial task in the coming time.
On behalf of the newly-accredited heads of Vietnamese diplomatic missions in foreign countries, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet and Pham Thanh Binh sincerely thanked Minister Luong Tam Quang for his concern and support, and pledged that they will spare no effort to fulfill their missions and serve as a bridge connecting the Party, the State, the People and sectors of Vietnam with foreign partners in general, the Vietnamese Public Security Forces with law enforcement agencies of countries in particular.
