Minister Luong Tam Quang pays courtesy visit to Belarusian President
Within the framework of his visit to the Republic of Belarus from September 7th to September 9th, Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang paid a courtesy call to President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Welcoming Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to Belarus, President Lukashenko highly appreciated the cooperation between the Belarusian law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam over the past time.
The Belarusian President hoped that the two sides will further promote cooperation in controlling crime, especially transnational crime, high-tech crime and terrorism, for peace in the region and the world.
Sincerely thanking the President for the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his delight at the achievements that Belarus had obtained in developing the socio-economy as well as maintaining political stability, and expressed hope that the European country will continue to strongly develop in all fields, maintain political stability and play an increasingly important role in the region and the world.
Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined that, over the past time, bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Belarus had been expanded in the fields of politics, economy, culture, society, security and defense, saying that the security cooperation is one of key pillars of the two countries’ relations.
At the meeting, the Vietnamese Public Security Minister also hoped that President Lukashenko will continue to support and create favorable conditions for the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to strengthen cooperation with Belarusian law enforcement agencies in crime prevention and control, contributing to ensuring security and order of each country as well as strengthening the traditional friendship between the two countries.
