Minister Luong Tam Quang requests Department of Organization and Personnel to further renovate its working method
Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang attended and delivered a keynote speech at a meeting held by the Department of Organization and Personnel to review its work results in 2024 and roll out its 2025 work plan, on the morning of January 7th, in Hanoi. Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Lieutenant General Hoang Duc Lung chaired the meeting.
In 2024, the Department of Organization and Personnel strictly followed all directives of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Public Security Central Party Committee, and Party committees at all levels, renovated its working methods and promoted administrative reforms while performing its tasks.
As a result, the sector has attained numerous excellent achievements over the past year.
Furthermore, with its high sense of responsibility, the Department of Organization and Personnel successfully fulfilled its strategic advisory role in organization and personnel work, advising competent authorities to perfect the legal framework related to organization and personnel work and Party building work in the Public Security Forces so that organization and personnel work was carried out across the forces in a synchronous and consistent manner.
The Department of Organization and Personnel also advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security to continue playing an exemplary and leading role in implementing the Party's policy on reorganizing and streamlining the political system, as well as assisted the Public Security Central Party Committee in preparing for the Party congresses at all levels in the Public Security Forces for the 2025-2030 term.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang hailed the excellent achievements of the Department of Organization and Personnel in 2024.
Regarding its work orientations for 2025, Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined three key organization and personnel tasks that need to be accomplished in the coming time.
Firstly, the Minister requested that the department should be determined to effectively implement the key breakthrough task of taking an exemplary and leading role in realizing the Party's policy of streamlining the political system’s organizational structure with the aim of providing a practical reference for the entire political system.
Secondly, Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined that the department should actively advise the Public Security Central Party Committee on the organization of the 8th Central Public Security Party Congress and Party congresses at all levels in the Public Security Forces for the 2025-2030 term.
Finally, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that the Department of Organization and Personnel should focus on guiding public security units and agencies nationwide to create a big breakthrough in all aspects of organization and personnel work while seeking effective measures to overcome remaining shortcomings and limitations in organization and personnel work, contributing to building truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements in the new situation.
