Minister Luong Tam Quang visits Department of Technical Services
Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang visited and extended Tet regards to officers and enlistees of the Department of Technical Services, on February 23 in Hanoi.
In implementing the directives of the Party and State leadership as well as the instructions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on ensuring security and order during the Lunar New Year 2026, the Department of Technical Services has resolutely and effectively deployed professional measures to thoroughly grasp and early prepare relevant technical resources for security and order situations.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang conveyed his best New Year wishes to all leaders, officers and enlistees of the Department of Technical Services, and commended them on their achievements in recent times.
Regarding its key tasks in the coming period, the Minister requested that the Department of Technical Services give the highest priority to comprehensively modernizing all aspects of technical services in support of the mission of ensuring security and order.
He also urged the department to further promote technology transfer, research and production of technical equipment and means for the Public Security Forces’ operations. It should strive to become a leading unit in implementing the policy of building and developing a modern, self-reliant and dual-use security industry.
Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his confidence that the Technical Services Force, with its glorious tradition as a heroic unit, will successfully fulfill all the tasks entrusted by the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security.
