Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus affirms support for Fire University

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long affirmed that the cooperation and relationship between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Belarusian law enforcement agencies in general and the Belarusian Ministry of Emergencies in particular has been tested over the years, and achieved many important results.
In particular, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus has supported the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in training officers and students in the field of fire and rescue at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, shared a number of results of its scientific search, training programs and teaching methods.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long hoped that the two sides will further expand their cooperation in all fields, particularly enhancing sharing of information and experience, technology transfer, joining scientific research projects on fire prevention and fighting, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and solidarity between the two countries of Vietnam and Belarus and cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the law enforcement agencies of Belarus.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Vadim Sinyavsky affirmed, the Belarusian side would further support the Vietnamese side to train Vietnamese officers in the country or send lecturers from the Belarusian Civil Defense University to teach in Vietnam, as well as continue to transfer advanced training models of the Belarusian Civil Defense University to the Fire University of Vietnam to improve its training and scientific research capacities.
