Minister To Lam meets senior official of Boeing in New York
As part of the Vietnamese delegation led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attending the high-level general discussion session of the 78th sitting of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Public Security General To Lam had a meeting with President of Boeing Southeast Asia Alex Feldman, on September 20, in New York.
As part of the Vietnamese delegation led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attending the high-level general discussion session of the 78th sitting of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Public Security General To Lam had a meeting with President of Boeing Southeast Asia Alex Feldman, on September 20, in New York.
To further strengthen and promote the cooperation between the two parties, Minister To Lam proposed that Boeing Group continue to support Vietnam in developing the aviation industry with a long-term vision and strategy in the spirit of mutual benefits.
Regarding cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, Minister To Lam suggested that Boeing Group research and develop aircraft types suitable for the functions and task requirements of fighting crime, countering terrorists and rescue of the People's Public Security Air Force Regiment and assist it in training pilots and engineers.
Mr. Alex Feldman sincerely thanked Minister To Lam for holding the meeting with him, and expressed his joy that Vietnam and the United States have just upgraded their bilateral relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
He highly appreciate the development potential of the civil aviation industry in Vietnam, and expressed his wish to expand cooperation with the Government of Vietnam in the coming time.
