Minister To Lam receives Chief Representative of the Lao Ministry of Public Security in Vietnam
Minister of Public Security General To Lam hosted a meeting with Khonsi NaoValat, newly-appointed Chief of the Lao Ministry of Public Security Representative Office in Vietnam, on the morning of March 5, 2024, in Hanoi.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam congratulated officer Khonsi NaoValat on the appointment by the Lao Ministry of Public Security as Chief of the Lao Ministry of Public Security Representative Agency in Vietnamk, and wished him big success during his term of office in Vietnam.
Minister To Lam hoped that officer Khonsi NaoValat, in his new position, will continue the good work done by his predecessors, closely coordinate with agencies and units of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, effectively deploy programs and plans for cooperation between the two ministries, contributing to deepening the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples in general, and between the Public Security Forces of the two countries in particular.
Thanking the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for its great support and coordination for the Ministry of Public Security and people of Laos over the years, officer Khonsi NaoValat affirmed that the Party, State and people of Laos always appreciate the special sentiment and great support from the Party, State and People of Vietnam, including the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, in their cause of national liberation in the past as well in as the current cause of building and protecting the Fatherland of Laos.
He highlighted practical and good results of cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Laos and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in recent times, especially in the field of preventing and combating crime, ensuring security and order in each country, and expressed belief that the cooperation and relationship between the Public Security Forces of Laos and Vietnam will further develop, practically serving socio-economic development and foreign affairs of each country.
Officer Khonsi NaoValat promised that, in his new position, he will serve as a bridge connecting the Lao Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and expand the bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the people of both countries.
