Minister of Public Security General To Lam hosted a ceremony to welcome Commander of the Korean National Police Agency Yoon Hee Keun, who was on a working visit to Viet Nam, on the morning of June 5, in Hanoi.
Minister To Lam expressed his delight at the results the two sides achieved in implementing Phase 2 of the project "Improving criminal science capacity of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security" in which the Korean National Police Agency provides funding to the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.
Minister To Lam suggested that the Korean National Police Agency continue to work closely with the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in implementing the project "Improving the capacity of the traffic police force under the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security” and offer training courses for Vietnamese police officers in the Republic of Korea, contributing to improving law enforcement capacity of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security to investigate criminal cases with the use of high technology, fraud via telecommunications networks and the Internet, as well as training courses on analysis and recovery of data and electronic evidence and Korean language.
Sincerely thanking Minister To Lam for the warm welcome, Commander Yoon Hee Keun wished, the relationship between the Korean National Police Agency and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam would develop in the future.
The guest affirmed that he will do his best to expand the bilateral cooperation between the two agencies, making an important contribution to ensuring national security, social order and safety in each country.
