Minister To Lam receives delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus
Minister of Public Security General To Lam hosted a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou and a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, including children of officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus who were on holiday in Vietnam, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security, on August 28.
On behalf of the visiting delegation and children, head delegate Zubarava Liudmila thanked leaders of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for their good care and thought for the Belarusian delegation, saying that the delegation had visited many famous places in Vietnam such as the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam People's Public Security Museum, Bat Trang pottery village in Hanoi capital, Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province, Da Nang city, Hoi An ancient town in Quang Nam province, Ho Chi Minh City over the past 10 days.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam emphasized that it was the first time a Belarusian delegation had visited Vietnam for vacations in line with the cooperation agreement signed between the two sides.
The deal on sending delegations of officials and children of one country to the other for vacations demonstrates the good thought and care of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus for their officers.
Vacations are awards granted to the officers who have overcome difficulties, hardships and dangers to successfully complete their assigned tasks.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou also thanked Minister To Lam and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for the goodwill and thought for the delegation, children of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, and said that the organization of trips for officers and children of the two sides is a testament to the development of the friendly relationship of the two countries in general and the law enforcement agencies of the two countries in particular.
