Minister To Lam receives visiting Russian children

Minister of Public Security General To Lam hosted a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Vietnam Gennady Bezdetko and a delegation of children of officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on November 3, in Hanoi.

The delegation of children of officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is on a vacation trip to Vietnam, which is according to an agreement between the Russian Ministry of internal Affairs and Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security.

Welcoming the Ambassador and the delegation of Russian children, Minister To Lam released that the Vietnamese Minister of Public Security and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation General Kolokoltsev Vladimir Alexandrovich in a recent visit agreed that the two sides co-organize vacation trips for children and grandchildren of officers with merit of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to each other’s country.

In preparation for the delegation of children of officers and soldiers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs to Vietnam, Minister To Lam had ordered relevant agencies and local police units to draw up plans to receive the Russian children so that the children can feel a home from home while staying in Vietnam.

Thanking Minister To Lam and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for the good sentiment, preparation and care for the Russian children, Ambassador Gennady Bezdetko affirmed that the exchange of children of officers of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia shows the development of the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in general, and between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in particular.
