Minister To Lam visits Chongqing city, China
PSNews - Within the framework of his official visit to China, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, leading a high-level delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam had a meeting with Politburo member and Secretary of the Chongqing City Party Committee (China) Yuan Jiajun, on September 15.
Secretary Yuan Jiajun informed the delegation of some general information about Chongqing city, the socio-economic situation and the work of ensuring security and order, and fighting crime in the city.
Minister To Lam proposed that the two sides continue to strengthen cooperation in fields of economics, trade, and encourage Chongqing businesses to invest green, advanced and modern technologies in Vietnam.
Minister To Lam also hoped that Chongqing city’s leaders support and create conditions for Chongqing city's security and law enforcement agencies to strengthen cooperation with police units of Vietnam.
* On the same day, Minister To Lam and a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam visited the Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial House. Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc Toalso joined the delegation.
