Minister of Public Security General To Lam, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, visited and encouraged the families of the police officers who had fallen in the recent attacks by armed people on the two commune headquaters in Dak Lak, on the morning of June 29.

At the fallen police officers' homes, Minister To Lam and the delegation burned incense paid tribute to the police officers who had sacrificed their lives for the people's peace.

Sharing the painful loss with the families, Minister To Lam emphasized that police officers and soldiers still have to sacrifice a lot for the peaceful life of the people. 

Minister To Lam affirmed that the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security always remember their sacrifices and implement policies towards the fallen public security officers and their families, and hoped that the families will soon overcome the pain.

Visiting the families of the two fallen civilian officials of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Minister To Lam affirmed that the sacrifice of the two commune leaders is a great loss for the Party, the State, their families and the local people.

During the visits to the families, Minister To Lam offered VND 500 million to build houses of gratitude for the families of the two police officers, Major Hoang Trung and Major Tran Quoc Thang, and  granted savings books worth 500 million VND to relatives of the two civilian officials, Nguyen Dang Nhan and Ha Tuan Anh, and handed 50 million VND to the families from the Central Crime Prevention Fund.

* On the morning of the same day, Minister To Lam and the delegation also visited and presented gifts to police officers and soldiers in Ea Ktur and Ea Tieu communes. Vingroup's Thien Tam Fund also offered each of the families VND 500 million.
