Minister To Lam visits the Vietnamese Embassy in Angola
Within the framework of a working visit to the Republic of Angola from July 14-15, 2023, Minister of Public Security General To Lam and his entourage visited the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Angola.
He met and talked with the embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in the Republic of Angola.
At the meeting, Minister To Lam briefed the participants on the economic, political and social situation in the country, outstanding work results in ensuring security and order of the People's Public Security Forces, presented the statue of President Ho Chi Minh to the embassy, and attended the ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the statue of President Ho Chi Minh at the Vietnamese Embassy in Angola.
Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Angola Duong Chinh Chuc expressed thanks to Minister To Lam and the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security for the visit to the Embassy and giving useful information about the country.
He also reported on the main results of the Embassy's work, including its close relations with the Vietnamese community in Angola, the local situation, socio-political prospects of Angola and the economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Angola.
