Ministry of National Defense and Ministry of Public Security review results of implementation of Decree No. 03

In the first quarter of 2023, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security and the Combat Operations Department under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army played well their role as Standing Agency for the implementation of Decree No. 03, promptly advising leaders of the two ministries (Ministry of National Defense and Ministry of Public Security) to direct their subunits as well as the People's Public Security Forces and the People's Army to strengthen cooperation and the bilateral coordination mechanism in accordance with directions of the Party Central Committee and the Government, Decree No. 03.

Expressing agreement with the six orientations and key tasks of the second quarter of 2023 in the general report, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Nguyen and Deputy Director of the Combat Operation Department under the General Staff of the Ministry of National Defense Senior Colonel Pham Xuan Dieu both requested the two Standing Agencies to closely follow instructions of the leaders of the two ministries, focus on implementing the key tasks and coordination plan between the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense in 2023 so as to boost coordination activities between the two sides on strengthening national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety, and controlling crime.
