Ministry of Public Security holds seminar on draft laws
PSNews - The Information and Communications Department of the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with relevant units organized a seminar on law projects drafted by the Ministry of Public Security and to be submitted to the 15th National Assembly (NA), on September 26, in Hanoi.
Speaking at the opening of the discussion, Director of the Information and Communications Department Major General Do Trieu Phong said that the draft law on forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots and law on identification are expected to be passed while the draft law on road traffic order and safety and law on national defense, security industry and industrial mobilization will be discussed at the upcoming 6th NA sitting .
At the seminar, Major General Pham Cong Nguyen presented the content of the law projects.
During the seminar, representatives from the involved units under the Ministry of Public Security also answered questions from press reporters on issues related to ID cards issued to people of Vietnamese origin living in Vietnam without documents on their nationality and the change of driving license.
After the discussion, the Information and Communications Department had plans to send journalists to localities across the country to reflect real situations of issues related to the draft laws before submitting them to the NA.
