Ministry of Public Security honors sports coaches and athletes participating in the 32nd SEA Games

The Ministry of Public Security held a meeting on May 23, 2023, to praise public security sports coaches and athletes participating in the 32nd SEA Games for their high achievements at the regional sport event.

The public security ports group as part of Vietnam’s sport delegation at the event contributed to the country’s overall achievement as public security sport athletes won 14 medals of all kinds, including 4 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and 06 Bronze Medals.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the entire public security sports sector, especially coaches and athletes participating in the recent regional event.

He underlined that they all had tried their best at the competition and brought honor to the country and the Public Security Forces.

In order to train and select public security athletes for the 19th Asian Games (ASIAD) in China in September 2023 and the Olympic Games in the summer of 2024 in Paris, France, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To suggested expanding physical training and sports in the Public Security Forces while the public security sports sector should invest more in training young talented athletes and building modern sport facilities, with a focus on athletics, swimming, shooting and martial arts.
