Police attack illicit drug trafficking rings

The Spokesman for the Ministry of Public Security said, the Ministry of Public Security always considers drug-related crime as the origin of most kinds of crimes as the crime more often leads to theft, robbery, murder.

Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security directs all police forces to fight this type of crime resolutely. In fact, the fight against drug-related crime has achieved a lot of achievements.

In the coming time, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to investigate special drug-trafficking cases, blocking the supply, drastically attacking illicit drug trafficking lines with a focus on arresting ringleaders, other than individual drug dealers.

At the same time, police forces will strengthen cooperation with neighboring countries in fighting illicit drug trafficking so as to prevent drug crimes from afar.

Investigate and handle cases related to violations of the law in the issuance and sale of health certificates

Regarding wrongdoings in the issuance of health certificates, the spokesman for the Ministry of Public Security stressed that such cases have happened for a long time and in many localities.

Police forces have brought to light many cases, but there are still cases of granting fake health certificates to people, who need certificates of good health to apply for education institutions, jobs, driving licenses or get social benefits.

As the need for fake health certificates increases, the situation becomes complex.

Facts show that some male people are certified by health institutions for female-related disease or a person without hands has still been granted a health certificate with sufficient conditions to get a driver’s license.

The Ministry of Public Security has directed the Dong Nai Provincial Police Department to expand the investigation of a case of granting fake health insurance to clarify criminal acts of all involved persons in accordance with the law.

In the coming time, the police will enhance inspection of the issuance of driver's licenses and the issuance of health certificates.
