Ministry of Public Security, State Bank of Vietnam agree to support each other in implementing Project 06
The Ministry of Public Security and the State Bank of Vietnam signed a coordination plan to implement the Project "Enhancing the application of population, identification and authentication data for national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030” (Project 06), on the afternoon of April 24, in Hanoi.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, and member of the Party Central Committee and Governor of the State Bank Nguyen Thi Hong co-chaired the signing ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized, the Coordination Plan has 11 major tasks and 35 specific tasks, of which some need coordination between the two sides to perfect technological and technical solutions, while others need time to pilot before being deployed on large scale.
With the efforts and political determination of the two units, the Deputy Minister believes that the Ministry of Public Security will support the bank to have a stronger, more convenient and safer digital transformation process as the Ministry of Public Securitywill provide the State Bank with advanced technological solutions, as well as the access and application of population data, electronic identification and electronic authentication.
With the Coordination Plan, the two sides aim to support each other to implement tasks of Project 06/CP in the banking industry, deploy five groups of utilities for digital transformation in the banking sector, effectively apply population data, citizen identification (CCCD), electronic identification and authentication to banking activities, contributing to preventing and controlling crime in the financial and banking sector.
The State Bank said that the Coordination Plan to implement Project 06 signed between the State Bank and the Ministry of Public Security is a very important premise as it will further strengthen close coordination and cooperation between the two agencies and support each other to perform tasks assigned by the Party and Government.
