MPS achieves good results of legal dissemination and education

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Central Council for Coordination of Legal Information and Education and Chairman of MPS Council for Coordination of Legal Dissemination and Education, attended the working session.
Over the past time, the whole Public Security Forces have effectively carried out legal Information and education drives according to directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leaders, firmly protected national security and ensured social order and safety, helping agencies, organizations and people early get an insight into new laws and regulations from their drafting stage, contributing to raising their feasibility and suitability.
At the working session, members of the inspection delegation highly appreciated the results achieved by MPS in disseminating and educating laws in recent times.
The inspection group also underlined that such good results demonstrate the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leaders had attached much importance to the work and created favorable conditions for public security units and agencies to launch legal dissemination and education drives among the Public Security Forces.
Inspectors proposed to MPS measures to overcome remaining shortcomings and limitations and further promote the efficiency of legal dissemination and education, such as applying information technology to the work, duplicating typical models at grassroots-level units and diversifying methods and forms of legal dissemination and education.
Concluding the working session, Deputy Minister of Justice and Head of the inspection delegation Nguyen Thanh Tinh affirmed that MPS had achieved positive results in law information and education over the past time, practically contributing to the political tasks of the Public Security Forces in particular and the whole political system in general.
Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh also suggested that MPS should summarize current good models and methods of legal dissemination and education for the Central Council for Coordination of Legal Information and Education can apply them nationwide, while closely coordinating with provincial and municipal People’s Committees to direct the communal police force to promote legal dissemination and education at the grassroots-level.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung acknowledged that the inspection delegation of the Central Council for Coordination of Legal Dissemination and Education had made objective assessments of the law information and education work in the Public Security Forces, and affirmed that MPS will seriously implement the conclusions of the inspection delegation in the coming time.
