MPS and RoK's National Police Agency continue project on improving criminal science capacity
The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam (MPS) and the National Police Agency (NPA) of the Republic of Korea (RoK), on August 3, held an online event to luanch the second phase of the project on improving criminal science capacity.
The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam (MPS) and the National Police Agency (NPA) of the Republic of Korea (RoK), on August 3, held an online event to launch the second phase of the project on improving criminal science capacity.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Son, Director of the Department of Foreign Relations under the MPS and representatives of functional units attended the event.
On the Korean side, Mr. Lim Yong Hwan, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs under the NPA and representatives of relevant agencies of RoK participated in the event.
After the successful realization of Phase 1 of the Criminal Science Capacity Building Project, the NPA has decided to continue phase 2 of the project in support of the MPS.
Phase 2 will focus on building an electronic digital forensics laboratory, improving Vietnam’s criminal scene examination and digital, electronic forensics, as well as training Vietnamese forensics and crime examiners including those working with fire and explosion.
