MPS announces administrative reform indexes in 2024
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to announce the administrative reform indexes and the results of measuring citizens and organizations’ satisfaction with the public services provided by public security units and agencies in 2024, on the afternoon of December 19th, in Hanoi.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Member of the Government’s Steering Committee for Administrative Reform Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung chaired the meeting.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung underlined that administrative reform plays an important role in building truly revolutionary, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces.
At the meeting, MPS announced the administrative reform indexes and the results of measuring citizens and organizations’ satisfaction with the public service provided by public security units and agencies in 2024. Regarding the administrative reform indexes, 28 agencies and units were rated as excellent while 78 others were very good and 4 were good.
Meanwhile, the rate of the satisfaction 98.74% of the citizens and organizations experiencing the public service of provided by public security agencies and units have showed their satisfaction with the public services.
The results have reflected the high sense of responsibility and efforts of public security units and agencies in stepping up their administrative reforms and improving their provision of administrative procedures and services.
At the meeting, delegates discussed a number of issues related to administrative reforms and proposed various approaches to accelerate administrative reforms in the Public Security Forces, including orientations for the building of a perfect institutional framework in the Public Security Forces in 2025.
They also pointed out difficulties and inadequacies in the management of temporary detention and custody, as well as the need to complete the legal corridor on extradition and transfer of sentenced persons, meeting the task requirements in the current situation.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that all public security units and agencies should effectively implement the directives of MPS on administrative reform, focusing on promoting digital transformation, developing e-Government and digital Government models as well as speeding up administrative reforms within the Public Security Forces.
The Deputy Minister also requested that the whole Public Security Forces continue to promote institutional reforms, uphold the exemplary and pioneering role of the forces in implementing the Government’s Project 06, and earmark sufficient facilities, technical means and high-quality IT human resources to effectively carry out administrative reform tasks in the Public Security Forces in the coming time.
