This is the first year that public security schools have held an extra exam to select qualified candidates for public security schools. The exam aimed to properly classify candidates for various public security schools.

In addition to the enrollment methods for candidates with excellent school records, the Department of Training under the MPS employed the new method in which it selected the candidates with the required scores in the national high school graduation exam and the extra exam.

Accordingly, the scores of three subjects in the national high school graduation exam accounts for 40% and the extra score held by the MPS makes up 60% of the benchmark.

Candidates’ total scores for admission to public security schools also include bonus points, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the MPS.
