MPS cooperates with VNU Hanoi in training public security medics
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a conference with the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), to discuss bilateral cooperation in training public security medics, on November 11th, in Hanoi.
Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang and VNU President Prof. Dr. Le Quan co-chaired the working session.
Welcoming Prof. Dr. Le Quan and the delegation of VNU to MPS, Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined that over the past time, MPS and VNU had maintained close coordination and cooperation in many fields, including education and training, science and technology as well as international cooperation.
To further promote the collaboration between MPS and VNU in the coming time, Minister Luong Tam Quang and VNU President Prof. Dr. Le Quan agreed that the People’s Public Security University of Technology and Logistics (PPSUTL) will team up with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy under VNU (VNU-UMP) to develop medical Human Resources for the Public Security Forces.
Accordingly, the two institutions are thought to coordinate with each other in conducting regular university enrollment, opening university transfer programs, and organizing annual out-of-hospital emergency training courses for the combat forces of MPS.
Speaking at the working session, Minister Luong Tam Quang hoped that cooperation and relations between the MPS and VNU in general and between their affiliates in particular will be strengthened and expanded in the coming time.
On the occasion, Minister Luong Tam Quang and VNU President Prof. Dr. Le Quan witnessed a signing ceremony of a coordination regulation code between PPSUTL and VNU-UMP.
