MPS launches series of activities to celebrate 80th founding anniversary of Public Security Forces

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) organized a series of celebration activities in the area of the Hanoi Walking Street from March 8-9, 2025.

The activities aim to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the Public Security Forces implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Six Teachings (March 11, 1948–2025) and in celebration of the upcoming 80th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945-2025) and the 20th anniversary of the “All People Protecting National Security” Festival (August 19, 2005-2025).

The event featured various activities showcasing the strength, traditions and contributions of the Public Security Forces, offering an impressive and immersive experience to both locals and tourists.

At the event, the audience had a chance to explore public security equipment and special-function vehicles showcased along Hang Khay, Trang Tien and part of Hang Bai Street.

The display featured modern equipment and vehicles, including armored vehicles, robots and firefighting trucks, demonstrating the advanced capabilities and preparedness of the Public Security Forces.

In addition, local people and tourists could see the Digital Technology Exhibition with the application of the modern Immersive Museum model which provides a multi-dimensional and dynamic experience.

They could also participate in interactive activities hosted by public security officers, offering participants both information and hands-on experience in traffic safety, fire prevention and rescue and cybercrime prevention.

As part of the event, the audience saw thrilling performances by the Traffic Police motorcade escort team as well as performances by a ceremonial band and cavalry group and police dog trainers from the Mobile Police Force.

Meanwhile, the Security Guard Command showcased an escort motorcade formation, providing spectators with an impressive and memorable experience.

Specially, officers and enlistees from the Security Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command gave spectacular martial arts and qigong performances, along with simulated anti-crime scenarios, in which task-force police used tactics and techniques to neutralize criminals.

The performances demonstrated the strength, power, and combat readiness of the Vietnamese Public Security Forces.

After two days of vibrant and engaging programs full of exciting and impressive performances bringing immersive experiences to the audience, the celebration program concluded on the night of March 9 with the musical gala “Glory of the Vietnamese Public Security Forces”.

The gala was performed by renowned artists such as My Tam, Tung Duong, Duong Hoang Yen and Noo Phuoc Thinh, leaving a deep impression on the audience.
