MPS leaders meets with outstanding children

PSNews - Within the framework of the program “Summer Camp of Love”, the Ministry of Public Security organized a meeting with children delegates, who are children of fallen public security officers, children adopted by public security women’s union chapters, local police units, and public security officers’ children with outstanding achievements in the school year 2023 – 2024 on the evening of May 28, in Ho Guom Opera House.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To presents gifts to students with outstanding achievements.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister in charge of the Ministry of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Head of the Committee for the Advancement of Women, Family and Children's Affairs of Public Security Forces,  attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To highly appreciated and commended the achievements of public security units and agencies in executing family and children affairs, as well as praised the outstanding achievements of the children delegates over the past time.

Affirming that the responsibility for caring and educating children rests on not only their families and schools but also the whole society, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To highlighted that the Ministry of Public Security always attaches great importance to family and children affairs, considering the work a key task in building the Public Security Forces in particular and the political missions of the Public Security Forces in general.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested public security units and agencies as well as the Trade Union chapters, the Women’s Union chapters and the Youth Union chapters of the Public Security Forces at all levels to enhance the protection, care and education for children, encourage the children to study well as well as organize suitable programs for children and closely coordinate with their families, schools and society in developing the children comprehensively.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also asked relevant police agencies and units to actively carry out social activities in the Action Month for Children and on the Vietnamese Family Day, while annually organizing ceremonies to praise children with outstanding study achievements and meetings with “Typical Family” at both ministerial level and local level.
