The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held an intensive training conference on the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles to the Law on Security Guard Force and related documents, on December 19th, in Hanoi.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung chaired the conference.

Delivering his opening speech, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung underlined that the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles to the Law on Security Guard Force, adopted by the 15th National Assembly during its 7th plenary session and put in effect from January 1st, 2025, is of great significance as it creates a firm legal basis for activities and operations of the Security Guard Force in particular and the Public Security Forces in general in the new era.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested the lecturers from the Security Guard Command comprehensively and thoroughly explained the basic regulations of the law and related documents to the participants, focusing on detailed regulations, helping officers effectively and properly apply the law, especially regulations related to the authority and responsibilities of the force in cases when security protection measures are employed.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that public security units and agencies nationwide should early hold conferences to explain the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles to the Law on Security Guard Force and its related documents to all of their officers and enlistees so that the law will be applied to their work in proper, comprehensive and effective manners when it comes into effect.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung also asked delegates attending the conference to heighten their sense of responsibility and work diligently and seriously to achieve all the goals and tasks set by the conference’s organizing committee.
