MPS praises officers in charge of emulation and commendation work
PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a conference to summarize the special emulation movement celebrating 75 years since President Ho Chi Minh gave six teachings to the People's Public Security Forces (March 11, 1948) and the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's appeal for patriotic emulation (June 11, 1948), on the afternoon of June 19, in Quang Ninh province.
At the program, the Ministry of Public Security commended and awarded certificates of merit to 75 officers in charge of the emulation and commendation work who had excellently completed their tasks over the past time.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the units and officers responsible for emulation and commendation work, saying that they had made special efforts to do their jobs.
The Deputy Minister requested that police leaders of public security agencies and units at all levels as well as officers and soldiers in charge of emulation and commendation work should always grasp the Party's guidelines, the State’s policies and President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on emulation and commendation.
They should also attach much importance to emulation and commendation work to mobilize all officers and soldiers in emulation movements, contributing to successful fulfilment of their agencies or units’ tasks while actively advising higher authorities on the implementation of the Law on Emulation and Commendation, which was passed by the National Assembly and came in effect from January 1, 2024.
