MPS promotes research and application of information technology
PSNews - Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS) had a meeting with the Department of Information Technology (DIT) under the MPS on March 9.
At his remarks, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen noted the important principle of ensuring information and data security when the DIT implements key projects of the MPS to develop e-government, digital transformation as well as connect and share data with other ministries.
The deputy minister also asked the DIT to complete legal documents related to information technology development and data sharing.
He urged the DIT to develop a long-term information technology investment plan with orientations for 2030 while being active in studying and investing in a project to build a general database center of the Public Security Forces.
He also requested the department to draw up plans on development of the security control system, specialized software for management and administration.
