In a series of activities celebrating the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, Ministry of Public Security held a social program to present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with meritorious services and communal police officers in difficult circumstances as well as offered free medical health check and medicines to local people on the morning of May 12, in Nam Dan, Nghe An.

In a series of activities celebrating the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, Ministry of Public Security held a social program to present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with meritorious services and communal police officers in difficult circumstances as well as offered free medical health check and medicines to local people on the morning of May 12, in Nam Dan, Nghe An.
At the program, Minister of Public Security General To Lam and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Ho Thi Tu and Tran Thi Em and families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Pham Thi Tam and Ho Thi Cot, as well as 16 wounded war veterans and people with meritorious services and 20 communal police officers in difficult circumstances.
Within the framework of the program, doctors and nurses from Hospital 198 and Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security provided free medical checkups and medicines to families with meritorious services and poor households in Nam Dan.
The social program demonstrated the gratitude of the People's Public Security Forces in the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source" towards those who had contributed to the cause of national liberation and their effort to ensure social security in our beloved Uncle Ho's homeland.
