MPS reviews education and training work in 3rd quarter

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to review the work of education and training of public security schools in the 3rd quarter of 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To chaired the meeting.

In the 3rd quarter, relevant under-ministerial departments and public security schools effectively implemented directions of leaders of MPS on education and training work, and achieved numerous important results.

Accordingly, public security academies, universities, colleges and schools have focused on perfecting training programs, strengthening student management work as well as effectively launching emulation movements among their teaching staff and students.

The schools also paid due attention to the work of Party building as well as strengthening the Party’s leadership over all aspects of the schools’ education and training work.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the public security academies and schools as well as relevant under-ministerial departments for effectively implementing key tasks of education and training in the Public Security Forces.

The Deputy Minister requested that public security schools continue to closely follow policies and directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of MPS on fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training in the Public Security Forces, so as to ensure high quality and effectiveness education and training of the schools.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also asked the public security academies and schools to organize enrollment of all types of students in various training programs in compliance with the regulations of the State and MPS by effectively implementing each stages of the organization of the specific entrance exams to public security schools, especially avoiding any mistakes and negative happenings during the exam paper marking and admission processes.

The Deputy Minister also requested the schools continue to carry out their coordination programs with international partners as well as units in and outside the Public Security Forces in the fields of education, training and scientific research, while promoting the application of information technology in scientific research, teaching and learning at public security schools.
