MPS reviews the building of communal-level police force
PSNews - 83 outstanding regular and part-time commune police officers working at commune-level police posts were honored at a conference reviewing the one-year of implementation of Resolution No. 12 of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Directive No. 11 of the Minister of Public Security on building the communal-level police force to meet the requirements for tasks in the current situation took place, on November 17, in Hanoi.
Presenting a report at the conference, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security Major General Dang Hong Duc stated, following Resolution No. 12 issued on March 16, 2022 by the Politburo, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Minister of Public Security respectively issued Resolution No. 12 and Directive No. 11 on further building the communal-level police force to meet the requirements for tasks in the current situation.
At the conference, 63 commissioned police officers, 20 typical part-time police officers, representing nearly 54,000 regular police officers and more than 70,000 part-time police officers working at communal-level police posts across the country were honored for their great achievements in ensuring security and order, fighting crime, and building the People's Public Security Forces over the past year.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To chaired discussion, in which delegates analysed issues, point out shortcomings and limitations, draw lessons and propose solutions to the issues, contributing to the building of the communal-level police force in the coming time.
Making remarks at the meeting, Minister To Lam wished that police officers at the grassroots level would always have much enthusiasm and strong resolve to ensure order and security as well as fight crime at the grassroots level, contributing positively to the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the entire People's Public Security Forces.
