MPS rolls out 2024 - 2025 school year work plan for public security schools
PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) recently organized a meeting to review work results of public security academies and schools in the 2023 – 2024 school year and roll out work plan for the new school year in Hanoi.
Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To Assoc. Prof., Dr., attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.
In the 2023 – 2024 school year, related under-ministerial departments and public security schools under the directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders effectively implemented the working plan for the school year and achieved many important results.
Notably, public security academies and schools grasped and effectively implemented Resolution No.12 issued by the Politburo on building clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to meet their task requirements in the new situation, as well as successfully organized a safe and efficient 2024 public security tertiary school entrance exam in accordance with MPS's plan.
In addition, the schools also focused on improving their training programs according to the new list of majors, while renovating methods of teaching and learning to suit the practical situation.
At the meeting, under the authorization of the President, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To awarded the title "Meritorious Teacher" to 10 lecturers from academies, universities and colleges of the Ministry of Public Security.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To congratulated the 10 teachers on receiving the noble title, while praising the public security academies, universities and colleges for their achievements and contributions to the education sector over the past time.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested that, in the coming times, public security academies and schools continue to attain their advantages while resolving their remaining shortcomings and limitations, especially those from subjective causes.
The Deputy Minister also requested all public security education and training institutions to attach more importance to implementing sub-projects to realize the Politburo’s Resolution No.12 on building clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements in the new situation.
In addition, they should continue to renovate the public security tertiary school entrance exam, improve their training programs and curricula in line with theory and practice as well as with the 4-level model of the Public Security Forces, while enhancing the quality of their teaching staff.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also asked relevant under-ministerial departments to create favorable conditions for and closely coordinate with public security education and training institutions, supporting them to address difficulties and challenges, so that they can effectively implement their assigned tasks in the 2024 – 2025 school year.
