MPS to hold qualification examination of candidates for public security schools

Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To chaired a meeting on July 6 with the Steering Committee on Implementing Project to Renovate the Admission of Students to Public Security Schools in 2022.

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Training under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) Major General Do Anh Tuan reported on the preparation for the organization of the 2022 public security school entrance exam. Accordingly, the Steering Committee agreed to organize the exams on July 16 and 17.

In order to best prepare for the organization of the exam, the Training Department held training courses on regulations for personnel in charge of public security academies, universities, colleges and schools.

A draft plan has been made and rolled out to ensure security and safety for each stage of the exam with and emphasis on measures to prevent, detect and address security risks and strictly handle scams during the exam.

According to the report, the Department of Training has established a test-making committee and coordinated with other agencies and units to assign forces to ensure security and safety for the exam as well as formed mobile inspection groups to check venues of examination.

Delegates from involved agencies and schools basically agreed with the plan for the exam. Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the Department of Training for its good preparation for the exam and asked relevant agencies and units to actively coordinate with the department so as to successfully organize the exam.

The deputy minister also requested the department to build a bank of exam questions for next exams, quickly make public the exam format with questions so that candidates can get used to it before the exam.
