MPS to host 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association, Minister Luong Tam Quang welcomed President Bang Seung Ho and the World Police Taekwondo Federation's visiting delegates to the Vietnam Police Sports Association to discuss issues regarding the organization of the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam, which is expected to take place in late November or early December 2024 at the Quang Ninh Province Gymnasium.

To ensure the success of the tournament, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the World Police Taekwondo Federation to early discuss and agree on the Tournament Charter, which regulates the status of participating countries according to the regulations of the World Police Taekwondo Federation. League, the time of the tournament, the tournament administration and management, refereeing work, regulations on participation fees and sponsorship campaigns.

To celebrate the tournament, the World Police Taekwondo Federation in coordination with the Vietnam Police Sports Association will organize a KPOP music event. 

"This is also a big issue, so the two sides also need to discuss the mechanism, carefully evaluate the effectiveness and capabilities of each side so as to reach agreement on the organization of the event," stressed Minister Luong Tam Quang.

Sincerely thank Minister Luong Tam Quang for the meeting, Chairman Bang Seung Ho briefed Minister Luong Tam Quang on the World Police Taekwondo Federation, expressed his joy at coordinating with the Vietnam Police Sports Association to organize the upcoming 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam.

Earlier on the same morning, the Vietnam People's Police Sports Association and the World Police Taekwondo Federation had a meeting to thoroughly discuss issues regarding the organization of the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam.
